About the Founder
Jake Bezzina
It was from a persistence for perfection within the field of poultry showing that I recognised an opportunity to adapt my knowledge and apply my own best principles to this industry. I soon realised there was a real demand for suitable poultry breeding enclosures and in 2017 my business began by constructing breeding pens and enclosures for other poultry enthusiasts.
I undertook training in welding and steel fabrication and Royal Bird – Animals and Enclosures soon began to expand and diversify. Backyard chook pens were soon followed by commissions from customers who desired practical, safe and durable designs for housing dogs, pigeons, quails, parrots and other shed constructions.
As a small local business I pride myself on understanding the needs of both the customer and the animal. I can provide you with advice on the best designs and my enclosures are constructed specific to the breed of animal, site location and the individual requirements of every customer. No job is too big or small as each commissioned enclosure can be modified to include portability or fixed flooring such as concrete slab or raised timber decking. This flexibility and trusted workmanship created a demand for my enclosures nationally, with completed commissions in Canberra, Victoria, New South Wales and across the Nullarbor Plain to Western Australia. These interstate commissions have provided me with new and exciting opportunities to expand and adapt my manufacturing systems by upgrading new design models and delivery methods to enable steady growth to meet the market.
My close friends and family will tell you that I never sit still! My growing network of customers has ensured that I will always be thinking of new ways that I can adapt my business to meet their needs.
